MADE: To celebrate the 7-ELEVEn Hot Wheels GT-R, Laura and Carrie Ann Latimer turned a Texas 7-ELEVEn car meet into a life-size 1:64 Hot Wheels world for more than 4,000 fans.
THE STORY: Every custom JDM build that rolled onto the lot suddenly felt Hot Wheels-sized against a world of giant 7-ELEVEn icons. A real Nissan GT-R was packaged inside an oversized blister pack, a bespoke GT-R sat on a life-size Hot Wheels track, and BiG Gulp, Slurpee and BiG Bite became supersized furniture.
Because, of course, everything is BiGGER in Texas.
Custom builds from the local car community filled the lot, Larry Chen joined the party, and exclusive giveaways included miniature 7-ELEVEn dioramas made for fans to park their Hot Wheels on.
24 hours after the teaser post went live, the post had already made its way to Malaysia, where fans recreated our bespoke livery on a real GT-R.
